When tracking is an issue…

Do you need better handling from your motorhome? Are “wandering,” “rut tracking” and “lazy steering” a problem? Tired and fatigued trying to keep in line going down the road?
Davis TruTrac bars, manufactured by Roadmaster Suspension Solutions (RSS), are designed to eliminate wander and reduce rut tracking by controlling excessive axle side play, without preventing normal up and down suspension travel.
The result is precise, predictable handling. The benefits are an immediate improvement in both vehicle performance and safety, as well as increased driver comfort

— more positive control means less driver fatigue.

Each TruTrac bar comes complete with all mounting hardware, and installs using pre-drilled factory holes — no drilling or welding required. They will not interfere with any factory original equipment, or affect any factory warranty.
Davis TruTrac bars are available for Ford F53 (V8 and V10), and all Workhorse motorhome chassis (W16, W18, W20, W22 and W24), as well as Kodiak 45/5500 chassis. Like all RSS products, Davis TruTrac bars are cadmium-plated, use polyurethane bushings for maximum stability and longevity, and come with a one-year limited warranty to the original purchaser.

Safe-T-Plus

Safe-T-Plus, was founded on the principle of enhancing the driving experience and saving lives. Today, Safe-T-Plus is a leading steering control product in the recreational, SUV, bus and industrial vehicle markets. Safe-T-Plus is currently distributed and sold worldwide.
Ride-King Motorhome Shocks:
There are two basic areas of ride control that are essential to understand and master for motor homes. Body motion control encompasses roll, pitch, bounce, yaw and overshoot. The RideKing shock absorbers with their large damping control force capability slows down all of the motor home dynamic motions, allowing the motor home to be much safer and more comfortable to drive.  When the coach is wandering, bouncing, pitching, and rolling, it requires the driver to stay intensely focused on the steering wheel guiding the motor home constantly. This can be tiring, frustrating and sometimes miserable to drive a motor home under these conditions. RideKing shocks, with their large 2 5/16” bore piston, produces the large control forces that completely stabilizes the motor home.
The other suspension and chassis control issue that is essential to understand and master on these motor homes is the tire and axle control. When the tire hits a pothole, or a tar strip, or the tire is rolling over rough highway surfaces, the tire bounces like a hard basketball. Controlling this bouncing mass of the tire and axle requires large shock absorber damping control forces. These large shock absorber damping control forces stop the tire and axle from bouncing, keeping the tire connected to the road surface. Tire bouncing is annoying, you know when tire bouncing occurs when the television is moving around and the stovetop is rattling along with everything else in the motor home. RideKing shocks with their large damping control force capability are valved to ideally dampen the tire and axle, thus keeping the tire from bouncing. When the tire and axle are optimally controlled, the tire will stay connected to the road surface and all of the ride harshness is eliminated.
RideKing shock absorbers offer to the motor home owner for the first time a shock absorber in a mono tube design that is scaled correctly, optimizing the ride and control of the motor home suspension. After you have installed RideKing shock absorbers on your motor home, you will immediately feel a remarkable improvement in ride comfort and control. Driving a motor home with RideKing shocks, allows the driver to relax behind the steering wheel. The motor home will ride comfortably and the directional stability and control of the motor home chassis is tuned opti-mally. RideKing shocks offer a much more relaxing ride for the driver and passengers, allowing them to settle in for a restful and relaxing driving experience.

Stop The Roll ! ! !

Body roll occurs when the wheels & axles go in one direction and momentum causes the the body to “roll” in the opposite direction.  Sway bars join the axles to the frame & are made of 1020 spring steel.  When one side of the chassis attempts to move or “roll” the spring properties of the sway bar resist the roll allowing the driver much greater control over the motorhome.  Most chassis come factory equipped with at least a rear sway bar.  The problem is that it is almost always not enough.  The solution is to add a front sway bar and secondly, adding a second rear bar or replacing the stock bar entirely.  The replacement bar is made of a larger diameter 4140 Chromoly Steel and mounted using polyurethane bushings instead of neoprene or rubber.  Polyurethane does not “give” easily, so energy is transmitted to the sway bar.  It is a very simple upgrade  that dramatically improves the handling characteristics of the motorhome.  *NOTE*  F53 Ford Chassis have a habit of losing the rear sway bar bushings after only a couple of years.  Same applies to the GM/Workhorse P-Chassis front sway bar bushings & air booster springs.
